Chronolog Data Logger
The CHRONOLOG is an event logging and time barring module that can interface with the remote control multiuser receivers, SUPA-SMART and SUPA-NOVA and the SMARTGUARD stand alone keypad.

It allows one to analyse when users are accessing the
property or building and also define the date and time
when the userswill be granted or denied access.
The CHRONOLOG stores on a rolling basis no less than
the last 1000 transactions as well as offering time-barred
access control to the 1000 user defined groups of either
the remote control or keypad systems.
Connecting the CHRONOLOG to either the multi-user
receiver or keypad allows the immediate logging of user
transactions to the unit. These transaction are stored in
the CHRONOLOG even when the power fails. The
memory contents are maintained such that only the most
current 1000 transactions are stored. The following
information is storedwith every transaction:
- The group number of the user
- The date and time that the transaction took place.
- The channel that was accessed (ie. which
entrance was used)
- Whether access was granted or denied based on
the time-barring feature of the CHRONOLOG
Transactions can be printed to a simple dot-matrix printer
(Epson mode emulation) in real time by connecting the
printer directly to the CHRONOLOG. Alternatively, the
entire memory contents of the CHRONOLOG can be
streamed to the same dot-matrix printer or uploaded to a
PC.
Once transactions are stored on the PC, group names
can be linked to the group number associated with the
transaction. In addition the user can associate a name
with an access channel (eg. Main Gate, Pedestrian
Entrance, Alarm). Transactions can be filtered and sorted
in the following ways:
- A transaction field can be alphabetically or
numerically sorted.
- A transaction field can be filtered for a specific
instance of data.
- Multiple transaction fields can be filtered within fixed
constraints to refine the transaction history to a dataset
of interest.
The PC Software that is required for the uploading of the
transaction history from the CHRONOLOG, along with
the filtering and sorting capabilities is supplied with the
CHRONOLOG unit. PC software for the time-barring
configuration is also included with the unit.
The Time-Barring function allows the multi user receivers
and keypad to control access at a USER group level:
- All 1000 (0-999) Groups used in the multi user
receivers or keypad can have time-barring access
implemented.
- 31 Unique Time-Zones can be defined.
- Each group is able to link 8 different Time Zones.
All this information is fully configurable on the
CHRONOLOG PC software. Once the time-barring
information has been set up, it can be downloaded to the
CHRONOLOG. This allows the CHRONOLOG to act in a
stand-alone capacity.
